Our Purpose & Vision

The Marin Indian American Association (MIAA) is a non-profit organization which provides a forum to explore the rich and diverse heritage of the Indian American community living in and around Marin County. The purpose of MIAA is to facilitate cultural events and educational programs pertaining to the Indian subcontinent, celebrate the diverse cultural heritage of the Indian subcontinent and shares this rich culture with the community we now call home, Marin County. MIAA will also strive to provide support services to members of the Indian American community in Marin County.

Membership

The success of MIAA depends on the volunteer efforts of all its members.  MIAA membership is open to all individuals who live in and around Marin county, and share a common interest in the Indian heritage. There are no membership dues.

Please become a MIAA member by Registering with MIAA to get timely notification of all events.

Also, we encourage you to get involved and help make a MIAA a great organization for bringing local community together and to help organize future events. Please contact any of the board members if you have any ideas or suggestions.
